Praias do Rio ganham 21 câmeras com superzoom para monitoramento exclusivo da faixa de areia
Equipamentos vão apoiar equipes da Seop e da Guarda Municipal nas ações de ordenamento urbano da Operação Verão
O Centro de Operações e Resiliência da Prefeitura do Rio (COR-Rio) começou a receber imagens das primeiras câmeras instaladas e dedicadas ao monitoramento de fluxo de pessoas nas areias das praias cariocas. Esta é a primeira vez que o COR-Rio, referência no monitoramento da mobilidade urbana, utilizará os equipamentos para auxiliar nas ações de ordenamento urbano, realizadas pela Secretaria Municipal de Ordem Pública e Guarda Municipal, durante a Operação Verão.
As novas câmeras começaram a ser instaladas no último sábado (6/9) na praia do Pontal, no Recreio dos Bandeirantes, e na praia de São Conrado. Até o final desta semana, todas as 21 câmeras serão instaladas na orla, do Leme ao Pontal. A Zona Sul receberá 14 novas câmeras em pontos estratégicos: Leme e Copacabana (8), Arpoador (4) e São Conrado (2). Frequentadores das praias da Zona Sudoeste perceberão a novidade em sete pontos: nas praias do Pontal e Macumba (4), Prainha, Recreio e Pepê, com uma câmera cada.
“A instalação dessas novas câmeras é uma mudança de paradigmas no monitoramento do Centro de Operações. Pela primeira vez iremos acompanhar a movimentação de banhistas e ambulantes em pontos estratégicos. Desta maneira, iremos auxiliar outros órgãos com o objetivo de manter o ordenamento nestes espaços. São novos equipamentos, com novas tecnologias e que deixaremos como um legado para a cidade”, afirma Thiago Curvello, chefe-executivo do COR-Rio.
Os equipamentos multidirecionais contam com tecnologia de ponta e superzoom que permite aproximar a imagem em até 45 vezes, sem perda de qualidade. Os dispositivos terão um alcance de 300 metros a partir do ponto de posicionamento da câmera, e poderão ser controlados remotamente por operadores do COR-Rio. A novidade tecnológica irá integrar o “arsenal” de mais de 340 câmeras que já fazem o monitoramento do trânsito nas vias da orla e do entorno.
Inaugurado em 2010, o COR-Rio conta com 500 profissionais em três turnos, 24 horas por dia, monitorando as imagens geradas por, aproximadamente, 5 mil câmeras em toda a cidade. O órgão público foi estruturado com o objetivo de antecipar soluções e minimizar ocorrências de grande impacto na cidade, como chuvas fortes, deslizamentos e acidentes de trânsito com reflexos na mobilidade urbana. O complexo usa tecnologia de ponta para receber e analisar as informações em tempo real.
